This artwork was inspired by a photo taken by photographer KIM POWELL. Highland lake is located in Winsted, Connecticut. Kim photographed the essence of a sunset that created the magenta color in the sky and on the lake. Kudos to Kim and thanks for her allowing me to paint her photo … hope I did it justice!!
