Shirley Monestier is an artist and art collector living in Bordeaux France. She first venture into the art world in 1992 when she moved to France and enrolled in the Municipal School for Arts and Plastics in Taverny France. Shirley's artworks are vibrant, bold colors and passionate. The theme in her artworks are abstracts/expressionism, culture and nature. The art mediums she use are acrylic paints and mixed medium. She has developed a special sponging technique that is applied as background on some canvas.
